Ward Cunningham is a computer programmer who created [[WikiWikiWeb]], the first-ever wiki, in 1995.

Ward Cunningham created the [[WikiWikiWeb]] as a repository of information on People and Projects related to Pattern Languages. It formed a companion website to his [[Portland Pattern Repository]]. Both of these sites were (and still are) hosted on the [[c2]] website of Ward's company "Cunningham & Cunningham."
