It can be observed that most frequently used WikiBadges are in fact [[WikiTag]]s, like [[DeleteMe]]. The only common WikiBadge that is not a WikiBadge would seem to be the [[WikiCategory]].

The [[Templates]] used on Wikipedia seem to correspond to what was originally denoted by the term WikiBadge. Many Templates are more than simple tags, since they can provide significant information on the context.
