Kent Beck is the creator of [[Extreme Programming]]. Kent Beck is one of the original members of the [[Hillside Group]]. He is on the list of [[InvitedAuthors]] whom [[Ward Cunningham]] first solicited to contribute to [[WikiWikiWeb]] because they were interested in [[PatternLanguage]]. ==Biography== Kent Beck has an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Oregon. Kent Beck pioneered software patterns, and is the creator of [[Extreme Programming]]. He also pioneered the rediscovery of Test-driven development and the commercial application of Smalltalk. Beck popularised [[CRC Cards]] with Ward Cunningham and created the JUnit unit testing framework along with [[Erich Gamma]]. Kent Beck is one of the signers of the [[Agile Manifesto]].
