Erich Gamma is author number one of the [[Gang of Four]] who wrote the influential computer science textbook Design Patterns. Not so recent projects: *JHotDraw - a Java flavor of HotDraw *Taligent's incremental C++ development environment. *ET++ (EtPlusPlus) - a comprehensive class library and application framework for C++. He co-wrote the JUnit software testing framework with Kent Beck and pairs as often as possible with Kent Beck to work on JavaUnit. Erich Gamma is the Technical Director of the Software Technology Center of ObjectTechnologyInternational (OTI) in Zurich. Erich is currently working on the IBM Rational Jazz project.
